“The only constant in life is change, but some things—like a love for great tech and a 27-year marriage—only get better with time.”
It has been a few years since I last updated this space. While my 2020 self was focused on the foundations of web development, 2026 finds me at the intersection of Retail, Consumer Goods, and Agentic AI at Microsoft.
But before the tech, let’s talk about the real “Squad”—my family.
Family Milestones#
Life in Wesley Chapel has been busy! Lisa and I are celebrating 27 years of marriage this year. It’s hard to believe how fast time flies when you’re building a life together.
Our boys aren’t so small anymore:
- Bryce (22): Is currently navigating his way through the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!). He’s been with his girlfriend, Maris, for five years now—she’s practically a permanent fixture in the Swiger household.
- Ethan (17): Is hitting a massive milestone this year—High School Graduation! He’s also celebrating a one-year anniversary with his “gal pal,” Kearstin.

What I’m Building Now#
Professionally, I’ve moved deep into the world of Pro-Code AI. If you’ve followed my LinkedIn lately, you know I’m passionate about the Microsoft Agent Framework (MAF) and orchestration tools like Squad.
When I’m not architecting retail solutions, I’m usually:
- Refining Sparkies, my 16-bit style Lemmings remake in Unity.
- Planning our next “research trip” to Aruba (we’re looking at retirement spots for about seven years from now!).
- Tinkering with Small Form Factor (SFF) PCs—because why use a giant tower when you can pack an RTX 5090 into a toaster-sized case?
It’s good to be back to blogging. Expect more frequent updates on AI patterns, .NET development, and probably a few more pictures from the deck of a cruise ship.
Onward to the next milestone!
